My daughter purchased this mat and didn't like it so she gave it to me and I don't like it either. It is was too thin and flimsey it wrinkles extremely easily, won't stay put on the counter top when you are rolling pie crust and won't stay down if you are trying to knead dough for bread. It sticks to the bread or it bunches up and wrinkles. Not a good mat at all.

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering this product. It is flimsy and not heavy enough for pie dough, I will be returning this item.

I bought this mat for cookie making. I love it! I wet the backside and it sticks great to my granite countertops. Occasionally the dough sticks a little bit, but, just add some flour and you are in business. It is much thinner than I expected, but seems to hold up well to cookie cutting with my 6 y.o. (who gets very excited with the cutters sometimes).
