Works as promised. Catches drips and lets the bottom crust cook better than if you use a cookie sheet to catch drips.

This is a must if you bake apple pies. Bought one for my newly married niece. I bought mine 43 years ago when i got married.

A little disappointed

The only thing I don't like about this is that the burned apple pie drippings were difficult to clean off. I don't want to have to deal with lining it with foil. That being said, I doubt there is a better product available. If there is, I have not found it.
