This product couldn't be better for keeping the pie drippings off the oven bottom, easy clean up, a must for the pie baker.

We had one before and it worked great. we let someone borrow it- need I say more it really works keeping pies from running onto the bottom of the oven. saves a ton of cleaning effort. bought 2 this time just to make sure we have one arond when we need it.

The oven in my electric range has a concealed bottom element and the bottom crust of a fruit pie would never get crispy and brown. The oven guard has solved that problem. And it catches any drips also...after all a fruit pie isn't worth it's salt if it doesn't boil over!
