I floured and peeled for years until I used one of these making pastry in a friends kitchen. What a timesaver. Dough does not stifk and makes pastry prep so myuch easier . Marble surface is nice but this is nicer. Comes with a frame for stability and circles to roll out standard shapes . get the cloth rolling pin covers as accessory and you'll find rolling dough to be so much easier. the whole thing rolls up and fits compactly in a plastic bag in a drawer when you are finished. Why it never dawned on me to get this earlier I'll never know. It makes the job so much easier.

Years ago I purchased this item, at the time, manufactured by Foley, I think. With it I could do just about any cookie recipe which needed rolling. No dough getting stuck on the counter, or such. No pastry cloths sliding all over the counter while I was rolling out the dough. How thin I coud roll my cookies!! I had quite a reputation around town. Then we moved and the frame disappeared. Not many specialty Christmas cookies coud be made. Then the frame was discovered on Amazon and once more I possess a pastry frame.Thank you, thank you,thank you for producing the best helper a cookie baker ever had. I can only give it 5 stars, but if there were more, it would have every one. (Works well for piecrusts, too.)OC Barb
