I've purchased two of these Silicopats. I mostly use them as countertop protectors. A 24-1/2" x 16-1/2" was first purchased for my kitchen about a year ago. It was shown in the picture as off-white with a dark gray border, and it was delivered that way. Food is often prepared over this mat, and it works great under a slow cooker. This Silicopat is well made, and I think I'll get many years of use. I gave a 5* review for that one.A 31" x 23-1/4" was most recently purchased to help protect a stainless steel top on my Big Green Egg nesting table. This size was also pictured off-white with a dark gray border just like the first one. However, the main color was tan with a dark red border when delivered. The color really didn't make a difference to me for outdoor use but I would've been disappointed with this hideous color combination for use in the kitchen. The feel of this mat is more concerning to me as it seemingly is made of cheaper/thinner material than the first one. I'm suspicious Amazon.com substituted another manufacturer's mat as there was a sticker placed over another sticker. Since this particular mat is more expensive than other baking mats, no need to pay more if they're substituting an inferior product.Unfortunately, you have no way of knowing what color is going to be shipped by Amazon.com or whether you'll get some cheaper substitute. Scrolling over the different sizes, some pictures show a solid red and some off-white with a dark gray border. By going to the manufacturer's (eurodib) website, they only show two types of Semifreddi Silicopats . . . the white one is described as "Semifreddi Silicopat B" and red one as "Semifreddi Silicopat R". The one I received is not shown on their website. If color matters to you, I suggest staying away from this item until Amazon.com straightens out the information it is showing although I don't know how one would know if they've corrected their errors.I'm giving an overall 3* rating since that may be the best guide looking forward given the uncertainty injected into the process by not delivering on the color being advertised, and seemingly delivering a lower quality product on my second purchase.The sticker says this product is made in Italy for those interested in knowing the country of origin.
